Signed Protocol Consents in CRIS
Signed Protocol consents are now available in CRIS. The protocol consents must have been signed by the patient on or after May 1, 2009. To access the signed protocol consent, select the Protocol Info tab. Select the signed protocol consent you wish to view. It will be labeled Patient Signed Consent in the Item Detail column. Paper copies of protocol consents signed on 5/1/09 or after need to be sent to the Medical Records Department (MRD) for scanning and filing. Upon MRD receipt of the signed consent, you will be able to view it in CRIS within 24 to 72 hours. If you are not able to view a signed protocol consents in CRIS for patients who have met the criteria of a signature date of 5/1/09 or later please contact: The Help Desk at 301-496-8400.
Suggestion Box Icon
A new feature has been added to the CRIS-Sunrise Acute Care tool bar to provide users with the opportunity to offer suggestions and feedback about the CRIS to the Department of Clinical Research Informatics (DCRI).
Use the suggestion box icon to provide your comments and suggestions.
The DCRI team intends to review your suggestions /feedback and will take into consideration your comments for potential enhancements to the system.
The suggestion box icon is located at the end of the tool bar and is represented as a file box:

Eclipsys Security Services --> ONLY ONE User Name and Password to Access CRIS
Effective October 20th, 2009, users log on to Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM - also known as 'CRIS') using their NIH domain User Name and Password.
If you haven't already, please register for the I Forgot My Password service through CIT at https://iforgotmypassword.nih.gov/aims/ps/. Registering allows individuals 24/7 capability to reset their NIH network account password (which will be needed to access CRIS!) and unlock your account yourself without having to contact the CIT helpdesk.
